Staff Profile

Hello, I am Mrs. Hansen, Kindergarten teacher at Highland Park Elementary!  I have been teaching in St. Paul since 2000. I have taught several grades but most of my classroom experience has been in kindergarten, the grade I definitely love the most. I grew up in St. Paul and even attended Highland Park Elementary 1st grade-6th grade. I love teaching at the school I also attended!

I graduated from Arizona State with my teaching degree and continued to get my masters at The University of St. Thomas. I now live in a suburb next to St. Paul with my husband, Andy and my three children. When I'm not busy driving my kids around and attending their many sporting events, I love to work on my home doing projects, go for walks with friends and my dog, Walter, and gardening.
