Staff Profile

Ms. Lauren began her career as a School Counselor at Dayton's Bluff Elementary in the fall of 2024! She received her bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology with an emphasis on applied psychology in educational and community settings. She then received her master's degree in Counselor Education alongside a School Counseling license. 

In her spare time, Ms. Lauren likes to spend time with her family and friends. She believes that the best way to recharge over the weekend is to have a healthy balance of rest and socialization with loved ones. Ms. Lauren also likes to read books or watch movies when she has time. Ms. Lauren was born and raised on the east side of St. Paul, and is a former student of SPPS!

Ms. Lauren is passionate about working with students to help them grow in their social-emotional, academic, and career learning. Ms. Lauren is also interested in research about how the covid-19 pandemic impacted the wellbeing of children. She understands the importance of mental health, and the importance of children having a trusted adult to listen to them.
