|  | | | | Volunteer | | As a Volunteer, your help with children to help improve on language, reading proficiency and comprehension in order to help them succeed as students. There are many opportunities to lend a hand at Mississippi here are just a few:
Reading Mentor/Tutor
Work one-on-one with students for 1 hour per week to help improve on reading comprehension and proficiency while providing a good role-model to the student.
Reading Buddies
Spend your lunch hour once a week with students in K-3 grade working one-on-one with the student to improve social skills and reading abilities.
Artistic Readers
Work with students to find a creative outlet that connects to book they are reading or have read with mentor.
We ask that all volunteers commit at least on hour per week so that the students are given some consistency in their weekly routine.
