| Site Council |  | Welcome to our Mississippi Creative Arts Magnet School Site Council. The Site Council brings together parents, teachers, staff, and community members to help their school be successful. Site Council members work together to:
* Improve student achievement.
* Define school goals.
* Shape school policy and procedures.
* Solve problems and concerns.
* Drive school change and develop school success.
* Have input into the selection of staff.
* Promote understanding and communication among cultures.
* Help plan and prioritize the school budget.
* Recommend approval of the School Continuous Improvement Plan(SCIP).
* Oversee the implementation of the SCIP.
We would encourage parents in our community to attend our regular monthly meetings. If you can't attend our regular monthly meeting and want to be informed about our community decisions, read our Site Council Minutes.
