4th Graders Bring the Water Cycle to Life in a Play Performance!  Ms. Courtright's kids show condensation as the sun causes water vapor to begin rising off the river. We became rain drops falling onto the earth, combining into larger and larger liquid formations,  In Mrs. Rendall's class, dancers show clouds forming high above the river.  Dinosaurs drank it.... In fact, we learned that today we drink the same water the dinosaurs dranks millions of years ago!To illustrate this point, kids  characters representing different moments on earth's time line.We had cave dwellers, Cleopatra, Pocahantas, Abe Lincoln, prairie girls and cowboys [to name a few] all stopping to drink  Cavemen cook by the river. The photos on this page reflect live [and quite different!] performances by both Mrs. Rendall's and Ms. Courtright's 4th Graders in January,  Pharaohs drank it.... Pocahantas from Ms. Courtright's Class  Pocahantas from Mrs. Rendall's class revives her daughter with water.  Napoleon stops for a drink!  George Washington stops for a drink!  Harriet Tubman finds a path to freedom in the river.  A Westbound wagon train stops by the river.  Cowboys let their horses have the first drink!  "Forescore and seven years ago....WAIT A MINUTE!! HERE'S WATER!!"  President Lincoln appears again in Mrs. Rendall's class.  The dinosaur returns to a modern kid. He says, "Clean up the river!" |
