Kindergarten through third grade students have music classes every four days.
In second and third grades children are elegible to join Primary Choir. The choir rehearses two times per week.

in grades 2 through 6 are eligible to enroll in piano/ keyboard lessons. If a student registers for piano instruction the child will attend one 25 minute keyboard lesson a week during an agreed upon time which is  | | 3rd gr, music class |
often during the child's specialist period. The piano method book used at Mississippi School is the Bastien series.
The December Choir Concert has been rescheduled for Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 2 pm.  | | 3rd gr. music class |
and 7pm. The dress rehearsal for the concert is on Wednesday, December 15 at 2 pm. Both the Mississippi Primary Choir and Intermediate Choir will perform in addition to the Mississippi Concert Band.
