We are studying the Mississippi River. We will be going on a Large Steam Boat. You know the big white boats with the big red wheels on the back that travel up and down the Mississippi River. They are modified for children so the children will be inside the boat and SAFE! Many schools across the Twin Cities participate in this program. We will be conducting science experiments under the guidance of the Department of Natural Resources. Our field trip date is October 2.
We have a Native American Hoop Dancer coming to work with us in October.
